Conference Mission:
The Specialty Committee of Tibetan Medicine will be organizing a Webinar Dialogue Series, "International Tibetan Medicine Conference on COVID-19 Responses: Global and Local Dimensions in Tibetan and Western Medical Approaches", on July 17, 2020 at 9pm (EST, USA). It will convene participants from across Tibet, including Lhasa, Qinghai, Sichuan, and Gansu, as well as Europe, USA, and Australia.
The COVID-19 pandemic is dramatically changing the world we live in, including unprecedented challenges to global health care. This online conference will focus on understanding COVID-19 through the lens of both Tibetan and Western Medicine. It will include discussions of Tibetan medical approaches for prevention, mitigation, treatment, and recovery, as well as public health perspectives within Tibetan communities in response to COVID-19.
